lol same here , too many great games for me to play on macOS anyway
I am thinking of stopping elder scroll online because I have got too much on hands
I've purchased Moving Out and played it on my old Intel Mac (via dual boot). However, now it's time for me to move onto new M1 Mac, and now I don't have a way to run the game, since Microsoft doesn't sell Windows on Arm licenses.
If you don't intend to make a Mac release, please consider making a CrossOver configuration for it.
Current Crossover status:
1. The game starts and runs but it doesn't render most of workers' bodies in main menu.
2. Map loads and seems to work fine. Runs absolutely smooth on a Macbook Pro.
3. The game freezes on actual level load.
Would be nice to hear from dev team what they think of it.
I tried running Windows for Arm in a virtual machine (latest Parallels).
The game doesn't run at all: it closes itself right after launch.
So, crossover works better, for now. 😅
P. S. Since iPads get the same M1 hardware, they should run Moving Out great. They also have full kb, mouse and, most importantly, gamepad support. I think, even old A12X and *maybe* even A12 SoCs could run the game smoothly, and any Arm code can be run on M1 Macs too.
I would love to see the game on Apple platforms, and, since A12+ devices are numerous (hundreds of millions, if you count iPhones), I think an iOS/macOS port might be commercially successful.
P. P. S. Oh, the latest Apple TV has A12 too...
