Worse than Overcooked
How you can go from that to this...

I mean, the idea is fun I guess. But the gameplay is boring. Like it took the worst parts from Overcooked, and abandoned the good ones. The gameplay is way too simple, and moving the furniture is almost as annoying as in real life

Just based on Demo though.

Maybe it gets betters in full version, but I see no reason to buy it

Overcooked is definitely a lot more complex, but there are challenges all their own here. It's fine to have this preference, but there's still fun to be had with this one.

Hey there!

Overcooked and Moving Out were made by different developers - they aren't connected in any way other than having Team17 as a publisher.

Hmm that so. It seemed very similar in aesthetics.

I appreciate the humor about a sloppy company moving furniture, damaging everything in the process, just to get the job done quickly.

But somehow it just seems furniture gets stuck into door frames etc. and struggling against the tangling furniture physics is the main gameplay loop. And there is not much else than that? Sure you can throw things, and must slap a few ghosts on the way and jump through windows to save time. But it all seems so simple.

Overcooked had all those ingredients that had to be organized in much more complex way, that wasn't obvious at first glance. The way things could catch fire, if you "overcooked" them, then having to put down fires, doing dishes etc... lot more moving parts.

Maybe it's just the demo, which seems so simplistic. And I tried it alone. But I don't know if furniture getting stuck on doorframes will be more fun with more people. I assume the sofas etc. will be just heavier, and it will be the same tangling sofa physics, that you're primarily trying to beat.

I don't even care about the whole online thing. Local coop is more fun, especially now with Covid-19 quarantine. But it seems that Overcooked 1-2 does a very similar thing, but better

It does get more complex, but in a lot of the same ways overcooked does. Switches, running from fire, wind, etc. The levels are larger, which helps, but the game certainly is breezier.

I kind of like this better than overcooked, less yelling at each other and overall stress is lower

I have to agree that this game is terrible because there is no sandbox mode or freemode. I would not buy this game at all. I actually took this off my wishlist because there's no sandbox or freemode In It.

Not all games will be alike , I happen to like the game. Its adorable and witty. It has corks in it and makes me laugh. I really don't see how to really compare it to overcooked. They both have something nice to offer. Not for everyone, however, I sure hope there is more added to it :) .
