Online co op
This game has remote play together... so it technically does have online multiplayer no?

Online co-op isn't built into the game, it supports 1-4 players in local co-op.

That said, it will work with Steam Remote Play Together if you want to play over an online connection.

i just see a mostly negative reviews from people who dont know how to navigate the hub world or complaining about lack of online multi... both easily solved issues

yeah remote play is a joke. I've never had it be playable with anyone on any game and we all have good internet connections.

just played spelunky, Monaco, and wizard of legend just fine with a buddy. No lag at all and he even uses a wifi adapter so clearly somethings wrong with your connection
I've never gotten the controls to work for remote play together, the sharing never seems to work in any lego game etc.

if you go into big screen mode, go into controller options and use "force on" you can use a controller every time and they can either connect a 2nd controller on their end or mimic your keyboard. theres other weird workarounds you may have to do in order to play 2p co op but ive figured it in every game ive tried

Seconding Parsec! Have been using it for months now with much better playability with 0 latency and host's own resolution. Way better than Steam's own remote play.

point is they both work great if you have half a brain and are nice to have right now for more than just moving out. Annoying to see negative review headers saying ♥♥♥♥ like "doesnt have online?" or "is this game a scam?" when im trying to decide on buying a game or not

Sorry a bit of a dumb question here. for Steam Remote Play Together, say I buy the game and I click invite friends on steam and they will be able to play the game together, like a fake multiplayer? If I use keyboard as controls, do other need to use other input device?

So I’m confused…can you play this game on pc with multiple people on separate devices? Or do you have to play local on one device?

lol, the fact that theres massive online co op problem, and that its stated online co op and remote play, incites that theres a multiplayer set up in game to connect to other s over internet, when the game lies, and uses remote play, while also putting in the store description, two very different ways to connect to friends online.... im looking all over the internet and steam and reddit say the same thing, people are mad about the lies of online co op, not online remote play... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dense
