Frustrating

This game is the most frustrating pes i have played.
-- I have not played online as of yet but this is my Master league.
-- Pace has gone and catch is extremely strong in this years game
-- the bounce of the ball always seems to land for the AI nicely while my teams first touch also seems to benefit the AI
-- AI interceptions are far to frequent while my team seems to let balls roll on past them
-- My player will slow down while running at the ball and once possession is lost will seem to gather his pace
-- i never seem to get much room or space but my midfield and defence always seem to leave loads of space for others to play even with tightness at its lowest setting
-- what do you have to do to win a free kick?
-- one penalty in a whole season
-- simple passes straying or my team just letting it role past them

i do appreciate what Konami are doing with the game and at times i do enjoy the experience. but when the opposition score a goal i dont think nice play, i just think it is scripted rubbish. When you are not ment to win, this game ensure you do not win no matter what tactics you try. AI will have one shot on target and one goal while you have 10 15 on target and there keeper pulls of worldies time and time again.

Tone it down a touch please, needed to vent this out to feel better.

This used to be MUCH more balanced in PES games.

And yes....Good teams should DESTROY lesser teams. Great players should out-pace defenders.

yeah, i know these old pes games...played them all myself in my youth. You didn't even thought about stuff like Momentum or Scripting. Either we were stupid recognizing it or it was indeed no 'cheated-scripting' like in these days.

I don't even bother the mood f.e. they play good aswell even if the arrow shows orange/red (in
19). How can that be? TeamSpirit overriding Mood?

Either all these stats, traits, teamspirit and difficulty-settings got outtaControl Konami's hand or it's intentional for some reason. I usually only play modded gameplays from EVOWEB f.e. those modded gameplay patches really make a difference.

This is the exact ♥♥♥♥ that made me stop playing FIFA. I can't take the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scripts disrupting my gameplay anymore. For years now i've wondered that why EA, why are you making the game so disgusting to play, and now Konami does it too. Maybe FIFA's pro clubs still is clean from scripting, i could play that...

I was just coming to vent here about how frustrated I'm getting with PES right now so I guess i'll add my two cents.

I only play BAL mode and its some of the most infuriating stuff of my life. Every time my team touches the ball, they either send it to the strikers, who are alone and lose possession, or slow play it up the wings, where it stalls out, and gets lost on a long ball forward. But if the other team touches the ball, even when its a low ranked team with doodoo players, they move the ball around the field like they're playing on Barcelona or something. If you touch the ball at any time, the other team sends players on a hard press, where I almost always lose the ball no matter how much talent I play around with.

Ending games 0 - 0 with 15 shots on net, compared to 2 by the other team is also highly frustrating. The other sides goalie, no matter how low ranked, always pulls out amazing diving save after amazing diving save. Compound this with the fact that the CP has probably a 70% Free kick scoring ratio after the 80th minute, and I see more 1-0 finishes in the last 10mins than I'd like to admit.

I've never played a FIFA game or anything before, but this is on REGULAR difficulty. I've done a lot of free training and i'm the highest ranked guy on the field. I should be able to do SOMETHING to the CP but it honestly seems way to hard.

I'm playing in the PLA League on Buchaneva. I'm a 76 ranked striker. Every team I play has about equal or less overall rankings, so on paper we should slap but it isnt working.

Ok, if the team plays long balls or if some players have inspire long balls, then that could explain it. You might have to ask for the ball more often then.

I think the goalies are generally too good in PES, it's been a problem since 2017. Before that they were too weak. I really wish PES had sliders!

I like the gameplay but the scripting in ML is sometimes so frustrating and i do a lot of rage quitting because of this.

AI can 90 minutes pressing on high speed, even weak teams can have endless stamina. I have faster players, but when AI decides to score a goal, my players suddenly slower, making inaccurate passes and act awkward.

Also played a complete season in Brasil (Serie A), not one red card, not one injured player, referees always against my team it seems....Freekicks for my Team? Maybe 5 to 6 in a single season lol.

Hopefully they will patch it.

Its these kinds of things that make me rage quit. Their only shot on net in the 90th minute results in a goal, but all the pressure we clearly had resulted in nothing. If this was only once every now and then, I would accept it as just the team playing poorly and conceding late. But This crap happens very very often.

Every time I touch the ball, it gets stripped and theres nothing I can do about it. So I need to rely on the crap AI to get me into scoring position, which they cant do.

You just watched someone rage quit live boys. Wont be seeing PES for a while.

I've had this a few times and the sad thing is, you can almost predict that the AI will score in situations like this. I had one yesterday when the ball just wouldn't go in for me but the AI scored with its first attempt after being able to feed a free kick into the box and do a first time strike right into the top corner where I wasn't even able to select a player to control from the minute the free kick was taken to the moment it landed in the net.

Playing PES 6, and having an amazing time, btw, I notice things in that game too. In ML, when you play a cup match in the middle of the season, often times, your team has a completely different feel to them. Like they didn't get coffee that day. I think the Season games and the Cup matches have always had their unique scripting.

What's funny, is there's less things that have changed than you guys might think. So much under the hood of this engine has never been overhauled, simply tweaked and now like over-kneaded dough, its no good and blown out.

You can feel the Barcelona moments in PES 6 as well and the opposite = when your team plays like Walsall.

Im playing the second to last team on my bracket in ML and am about to play the match a 3rd time because they're playing better than Inter did just two matches prior.

It's been a PES thing for a very long time, simply got worse.

Talking about injuries....i played 2 seasons ML in pes2019, even with modded gameplay patches, there was not one single injury. No one comes back from nations matches injuried, exhausted.

Konami talking about realism even adding an injury-stat for each player and then, nothing lol

Injuries ALWAYS happen in every team and may decide aswell about your outcome. Buying backup pplayers is not really needed. A 2nd goalie is never needed aswell. You can basically sell them.
