For instance. I run with my player against opponent to stop him. Foul and yellow card.
When my fast Winger runs with the ball, and opponent's player slows him down via grabbing him (called 'pressure', I think), there's nothing. That might have lasted for 20-30 metres. BTW, that's tactical foul and should be penalized with yellow card.
But with these two things in need second opinions. (So, more comments, please.)
1.
There are running speed and dribbling. How should I see this. Is dribbling more like the skill to dribble (opponent can't tackle ball away from you), or is it more like how fast you can run with the ball? Or both?
Sometimes I just wonder, why my fast player with the ball (speed about 85-90) is caught by opponent with speed something like 70... No dribbling skills at all???
2.
Guessing - the game itself want's to HELP the player by making decisions for you. Sadly.
For instance. I had a free kick near the box. Idea was to pass the ball to a player near the box line, that he would give me the ball back with 'through pass' just for better ball positioning. Then shooting the ball.
I think, that the game engine just couldn't understand my idea, and made that through pass upwards to another player of mine. Sadly - there was also an opponent there.
Because the angle between my idea of that pass and the pass made was like 90 degrees, I just wonder, if there's any sense with that helping mode!
Or, at least, there are setups in every game. Use them!
I had a lot, a lot situations in which when my striker were fast enough to get the ball, the game simply change his run speed for a half of second so in consequence he always loose the ball. And in same time i do nothing else than holding the stick in one direction without moving it at all.
In my opinion 75-80% online matches in this game are won or losed not because lack of skills or because of better skills of gamers. The game take control over the match in such a strong way, that our skills are only an addon to that what game make by own used scenarios and scripts.
