Single player?
I just bought the game. XD

I am curious about the single player and how saving works. :)

Hello.

Single player plays the same as multiplayer, except there are no players to bail you out when you die. When you die, it's game over and you start a new one. The game is designed to be played over and over, so you get to see different combinations of weapons, items, pets, potions, etc. It takes time to learn how to combine different things and (ab)use the game mechanics to beat the game.

In single player, there are less enemies in every room and the bosses have less health. Also, reduced number of minions spawn in most of the boss rooms. Some of the quests are much easier (for example, protecting the princess, you only have to fight 5 goblins) and some are harder (ex. escorting Amanda can be difficult because all the enemies go towards you).

In single player, you can use all the weapons, items, potions and get all the pets and quest rewards for yourself. The number of drops (from chests, barrels, boxes, etc.) is the same regardless of the number of players playing, so single player has an advantage there. You get all the loot.

There is no saving as a single playthrough is meant to be completed in 40-70 minutes (either you die, or beat the game).
