Any tips on getting S rank?

In order to unlock the last hero, the assassin, I need S rank. Even on the easiest difficulty, I find trouble winning every King's League match as soon as it's available, and I typically spend a rotation or two grinding up the crystals necessary to level up my team (which seems to be the most important component on winning fights, I've found). I'm not really sure what to do.

Most games I get C or B rank, and I'm sure some of that has to do with a general time limit. Game seems to expect you to speedrun, but I kind of like taking my time to eventually sweep up enemies.

So I'm not sure what to "focus" on while playing in order to get the best S results.

Try to use Tyshia in normal or expert, upgrade the warrior ASAP to lv 10 to block everything.

About winning King's League without defeat, it is possible on Expert until the last league. I done that without using OP Paladin but Berserker instead. After seeing how OP the Mallie's Paladin is, I doubt that you might gonna try it as well.
