Has anyone tried to run this on a 64 bit Win 7?

The specs say 64 bit not supported but I was wondering if anyone was getting away with it.

It works alright for me. Boy is it nasty, though. Basically a good game, but only supports low widescreen resolution, needs a gamepad for comfortable control but prompts for keypresses when using it. Worst of all, they took out the coop.

You can get this for the Wii, and that version is far better.

It works only with 1024x768 resolution for me. With 1600x1200 it doesn't start.

Thanks for heads up. Shame it's an inferior version - I would otherwise have picked it up (especially on sale). Got it years ago when it was released on the Xbox 360 marketplace and quite liked it back then, got excited when I saw it on Steam. Oh well, plenty more casual and quirky little horror games out there.

I really enjoy (note present tense) playing the original Haunted House on the Atari 2600. I also have the wii version of this game. That version supports two players. This version doesn't support two players but it does work on my Windows 11 machine (yes, I changed my mind and bought it on sale 7 years later).

Had the same problem. 1024 works fine though. The movement is a little jerky but overall not a horrible updating of this game. Someone else said they should have done Adventure. Couldn't agree more. Also, Pong and Breakout are fun too. I have the disc versoins of those and they work fine with win 64/7. At least in my limited time playing them they do (a couple of games I need to play more)

A shame Atari died. These are bad and very nostalgic. Anyway, to those saying "not even on sale" it's $1.50 at gamersgate. :p
