DODGY CHAIRMAN DECISIONS?

I recently started a new game as a club in the National League and was soon in debt by nearly ten thousand pounds. The Chairman suggested that I either sell or loan my players to reduce the deficit.

Therefore I sold a couple of them I did not need only for, the very next week, the Chairman to acquire a couple of players on Free Transfers. The wage bill for these newcomers was more than that for the duo I had just sold which seemed to defeat the objective of trying to keep the finances in the black. My team was, and currently is, still in the red.

Is there a protocol within the game that if the number of players at a Club falls to a certain level - such as only having three Reserve players like I did at the time - the Chairman will automatically try to acquire more regardless of the budget currently available?

Yeah it is very annoying. He tends to automatically buy absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ players if squad number falls below some set number.

lol I suggest to absolutely ignore these messages and just play your game, in case you should sell or release players that you really wont use
