SteamOS / Linux version

The game looks awsome! Do you think it would be possible to release a SteamOS / Linux version of it? Sadly there are not that many fighting games on that platform (yet).

I have no insight into their development but I can say that it should be pretty easy to "port" it to Linux Systems because the game is made with Unity3d which allows easy export to Linux (I'm using Unity myself on own Project and University stuff as a Programmer). Only Problem could be shaders or Windows specific Plugins if they use any. Would also like to see a native Linux Build instead of running it through Proton.

Would be nice to have a Linux version when our only options currently are Skullgirls, Fantasy Strike, and Tekken 7.

If it's Unity then they absolutely should be able to do it... yet the sticky just says no. :/

It's honestly sad knowing that there's a whole bunch of new fighting games out now that are all using Unity and still even those won't release a build.

Better spend your money and time elsewhere then. The only way to get more Linux ports is to divert your money to Linux games. Them's Fightin' Herds is getting official Linux support.
