Controller Not Working Using Steam Input Configurator

The only way to get my Xbox One controller to work is to disable Xbox configuration support in the steam controller settings globally. I also can't use a dualshock 4 using playstation configuration support. The only way to use a dualshock 4 is to connect it to DS4Windows before starting steam and keeping both Xbox and playstation configuration support off. It used to work earlier this year (2020) but now no longer does. Did something change with Unity controller support that was or wasn't updated or updated properly? Could you look into this ? I'll be available or any questions. Thank you. Great game. Lots of fun and screaming at the TV.

The same thing just happened to me in a completely different game. It all of a sudden crashed, and now I can't connect my Dualshock using Bluetooth.

What game? I also had an issue in void bastards where the cutscene plays and says "press any button" and it won't recognize any button on my dualshock 4 and i have to hit spacebar even though every other action in the game works fine on the controller, and craziest yet, if i turn on my Xbox one controller and press a button instead of hitting spacebar, it works as intended.
