I own Shadowhand and love it. And I just went to Grey Alien Games' site, and saw that Ancient Enemy will be out in March 2019 !! Hopefully there won't be as much of a delay as was the case with Shadowhand, and I can't wait to play this new game !! :)

Thanks! The plan is definitely NOT to have a big delay. Reusing the Shadowhand engine but with modifications is saving a lot of time, and other things we are doing. So hopefully March, maybe April. We'll see...

Regency Solitaire was the first game like this i enjoyed alot
less thrilling but just nice relaxing game with a fine story ala Jane Austen
the literature contains so many romantic heros & heroins to take on
i would love to play more of this kind of games in general

Glad to hear it! Ancient Enemy will be a bit different theme from Regency and Shadowhand, but we do have ANOTHER game lined up for later in the year as well that I think you'll like ;-)

By the way, next time you talk to the guys over at Suricate Software, tell them we Mac users want them to port their two Jewel Match Solitaire games to the Mac as well.

Oh that's great that you have all those games. Well Ancient Enemy is closest to Shadowhand in design so I hope you like it. I will talk to the Surricate guys about Mac but can't promise anything.

Epic Store? I just looked it up (haven't heard of it before), and read that "The store is available on the web and through Epic Games' launcher application". Does that mean that, in order to download games from there, you will have to install a game launcher like Steam Client? I don't want to buy games from yet another site, and have already 2 game launchers (Steam Client and BigFish App). Don't want a third one.

Anyway... I do hope Jake keeps on selling his games on here. I own practically all of Grey Alien Games' games (except one or two of the very old ones), and enjoy them immensely.

Honestly I thought Grey Alien would ship another match 3 (no joke, love these) but with very interesting storyline, art, audio and stuff such as Shadowhand.

Personally, I prefer card games to M3 games, and would always buy a Solitaire card game, but only buy a M3 game if there are interesting extras added to the game, like building a city and such.

Hi everyone. The plan is to keep selling games on Steam, though if we can also sell on Epic then we would.

I'm glad you are looking forward to Ancient Enemy. It'll be solitaire and turn-based combat but done in a different way from Shadowhand and it's coming along nicely.

Also it's nice to hear that people liked Spooky Bonus. In theory I'd love to make another but since mobile trained everyone that match-3 games are "free" and the casual PC download market has collapsed, it's wouldn't be a sensible business decision for us to do that. We'd probably lose money. Shame but there you go. Meanwhile check out Spring Bonus on Steam, which I made before Spooky Bonus. It has very similar gameplay, but doesn't have a "shop". Also take a look at Unwell Mel on Big Fish Games (has a ton of levels).
