How do I apply to console capture?

What I want to accomplish is applying to lossless scaling effects to a captured output from my console using a capture card.

I've read some are able to do this with OBS? How exactly do I go about doing this? I'm not familiar with OBS settings.

I got that to work by adding my capture card (elgato) to OBS via capture video device. Then right click full-screen projector to the monitor you want, then use lossless scaling on that.

Scaling mode custom and resize before scaling on.
