I've been checking this app out of curiosity, and I'm concerned a little bit about the lack of knowledge people seem to have in regards to upscaling. Your steam deck comes with FSR upscaling as Linux in general can use built in FSR 1.0, so why on earth would you buy this? Not only that but NIS comes with Nvidia control panel and upscaling comes built in with games. I don't get the point of purchasing this software. Upscaling is easy to get for free. I just don't get the point of paying for this.
It's about the frame generation, not the image upscaling.

yea its about frame generation. and its a more general thought about linux. not just steamdeck, which has a good fsr integration.
and yes i saw the other topics. but i thought i made it clear that i have something else in mind. a more...motivating request. But if im the only one its totally fine. i just wanted to write my thoughts :)
maybe there will be a neat option via steam itself. but until then i'd like to support "innovative" devs :)
You are not alone :) Many wish that there's a native Linux version, but that's simply never going to happen. The needed development time would be massive, and the financial return laughable due to a extremely low Linux/SteamOS market share compared to the maybe 500+ million Windows PC worldwide that can run LS.
Have a great day!
Frame generation. Lots of different options for upscaling. Regular updates with new features
