Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

When I use it, shows like 220/165 on top left..
Hey,

I have 165 Hz monitor, I fix my game to 55 fps for example, and using x3 Frame gen. But on top left, it shows 220/165 or something and its kind of a buggy.

Does someone know why is it like that? Thanks.

use something like Nvidia Control panel to hard cap your FPS at half your monitor's refresh rate if you're using X2, if you're using X3 then go for a third if it's not evenly divisible go for as close as possible to your monitors refresh rate, I personally go just below to avoid excess rendering of frames

Could be related to overlays, try disabling all of them (Steam, Nvidia, AMD, ...). If you have the Discord app, close it or disable its hardware acceleration.
I've disabled every overlay except msi afterburner, but its not the problem I guess, I've seen people using lossless and rivatuner both

Does it work in other games?
unfortunately, no. Same with all games. :(

Do you have Windows 11 and an Nvidia GPU? Then maybe try driver version 560.70, it fixed the problems some people had. Here's the driver:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/results/230094/

Remove the old driver with DDU first.

Its overlay issue I guess, tried everything. Maybe have a software that I cannot find buzzes with lossless.. I will fresh install win 11 and try that driver too.

Easy fix: You didn't fix/lock your games framerate. If you had, you'd have posted how you did it.

Driver lock it and I assure you it'll be fixed.

I don't see how that screen shot shows a lock of FPS done in the actual driver ...

read the caption, OP capped it with nividia's control panel, so clearly locked at the driver level.
