Now that they know they don't get x3/4 framegen from Nvidia they like LS even more.

Not everyone loves it though, this clueless guy says that LS is useless on 4xxx series cards and that it's a scam:

Seems you don't have a 240+hz monitor.

It just means it displays an image every 25ms, you have a 40fps base fps. 1000ms/25ms=40fps.

Because you haven't seen it yet. You said you find 30x4 acceptable for videos, so maybe you can imagine how good a 60x4 looks.

I use it with a 3080 with a 240 HZ monitor...it runs perfectly. I think a 4080/4090 can also run X2 mode if you set the game to full 4K.

Even 30x2 is ok but the moment you do X3 + its a mess for me.

Ok, so you don't use more than x2 with LS in general.

as an RTX 4090 owner i can say only this after the RTX5000 series announcements:
i love this app even more and saved me €2500

I've alrady been able to try gaming past 240hz and its really a waste of performances. At that point i would preferaly use DLDSR instead of more frames.

Yep, that's why I upgraded to "only" 1440p 240hz. I only play a few games at 230fps, for most other games 180fps is more than smooth enough.

As a 4K Monitor User, I use lossless scaling for games with very bad internal UI scaling settings, for example most of the older Paradox Interactive Games like Hearts of Iron 4, Stellaris, Europa Universalis IV.... etc. Or the older Total War Games like Shogun 2.

RTX4090 by itself can't solve these problems, and a RTX5090 wouldn't either, if I would buy one.,

i have a 4090 and a 240hz super ult wide. i'm still trying to figure the program out. i kinda like x4 fg wiith locked 60 or 80 fps from riviatuner. any suggestions? also is there a lot of input lag? i havent noticed really... crosshair blurring is my only real gripe i wish i could fix.
I am using a custom build (I built it) with a 4090 - The tool is AMAZING

I don't have either card, but even if I did, my primary use for LS doesn't involve gaining performance or even frame gen, so my opinion would be much the same; very useful program, since not every game has good fullscreen support or scales nicely.
