Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

1050 ti - Elden Ring
Hello.
I have a Geforce 1050 ti and it has performance issues in Elden Ring. How would I configure Lossless Scaling (and maybe also ingame settings) to improve the games performance? I actually have a 2nd onboard graphic card in the PC. Can I run the main game on my 1050 ti and lossless scaling on my onboard graphic card?

There are several videos on how to use DUAL GPU with lossless scaling, I think it would be better to start the game with the GTX 1050 and use the integrated GPU in lossless scaling, Elden Ring is demanding and the GTX 1050 is not very good.

Download the lossless scaling beta it is the best version

I tried it out and I get nowhere the results I see in that video:
-if I activate frame generation the screen becomes like looking into a curved mirror and I get quickly dizzy, one setting I got to work somehow, but the fake fps don't really feel good
-if I activate stuff like FSR/NIS/LIS1 I need to downscale the input resolution for it to do something, this way I get from 20 to maybe 25 fps, however there is a drastic loss of graphic quality

Maybe my computer is simply too old for this game. My CPU (AMD A10 7850K) also isn't the newest anymore.

you should lock your fps at 25/30 and if you have your gpu at 70% utilization you can enable frame generation, otherwise base fps will be lower and you will get a really bad experience.

with that card you should play at low settings 720p resolution, you can use sgsr or LS1 performance mode to upscale to 1080p, and then use the frame generation with 25%-50% resolution scale, an maybe then you will have a great experience.
