Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

Lossless scaling and multiplayer games
Hello everyone I need opinion on something. I am playing Marvel Rivals and I'm getting 100-110 fps and I wanna try lossless scaling frame generetion 3 with that game. And my questions are do you recommend using it with multiplayer games? Will there be much latency? I saw in patch notes latency is better in version 3.

Just try it, then you will see how much you like it ;) If you need any help finding the right settings then let us know your GPU type, monitor resolution and refreshrate.
Probably the biggest source of latency when doing frame gen is the base framerate of what you're genning from; if you say, do 4x to get 90 FPS from 30 baseline, then it's still going to have the input latency of 30 FPS. This is part of why 60 as a minimum is recommended for frame gen.

Aside for a high base framerate though, you can also try to keep your GPU utilization from maxing out (85% or lower is best), setting sync mode in LS to off (and turning vsync off in the game; idk if that effects latency with LS, but in-game vsync is redundant when you're using LS), and playing with the "max frame latency" setting; raising it from the default of 1 can actually improve latency if your system isn't quite capable with keeping up with such a short queue.
