LS not working on RDR2

Hi, I've been trying to get LS working on RDR2, but there's been no way. At first I couldn't even activate LS within the game. Afterwards, I managed to get it to activate, but the frame generation does not work, in fact, it only showed me 14fps and it looked horrible. I've tried changing the API from vulkan to directx 12 and made sure it's in borderless window, but I still can't get it to work. It's the only game I've had problems with. I use it constantly in Helldiver 2. Any ideas?

What's the fps without LS? What's your GPU, monitor resolution/refreshrate and game resolution?

Hey! Thanks for responding. On average I have 80fps at 2560x1600 and a refresh rate of 240hz. All this with a 4070 laptop.

GTA and RDR especially rdr sometimes give me issues with lsfg hotkey doesnt work in them only the scale button and rdr sometimes the latency will go up to like 20 seconds i dont know why doesnt really happen to me anymore tho so thats good maybe in rockstar launcher disable the disable windows key setting i did that and it may have helped? not sure even tho it doesnt even do what the setting is called

Is Preferred GPU set to your 4070 in LS?

I have the issue where the hotkey does not work in RDR2 or GTA 5.
A workaround for this that works for me is to:
- alt-tab out of the game
- change the scale hotkey in LS (and then change it back)
- go back into the game and activate LS

This lets me use LS in those two games, although I have to do this every time I boot them up. Not sure if this is the same specific problem you have, but I hope this helps

Yes, it's on. I forgot to mention that I set LS to run as administrator and also tried the DXGI and WGC capture API, still nothing worked.

Yeah! The same thing happens to me.

yea try disabling the disable windows key setting in rockstar launcher i dont know they added it it doesnt even work and is kinda pointless its only caused issues for me let me know if that helps

For me it works like a charm with a base fps from 30 to 60 and these are the steps i did: 1. Disable vsync in-game and also put it on window mode then quit game and cap the fps to 30 with RTSS tool. 2. In my case I need to alt-tab to activate LSFG hotkey does not work I also use DXGI for capture and also I turn on vsync - 1 from the app.
