Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

I typically use LS1 for Scaling
Anyone use the other scalers? And if so, why do you use it over LS1?

I use FSR whether my PC can handle native 2k at stable 30fps. Usually I have 50-60% GPU load before using FG. So native 2k with medium sharpness FSR and x2 FG looks great for me with FSR causing much less stress on a GPU.

With 1080-1440p upscaling Im definitely going with LS1.
Comparisons I looked at suggested that LS1 produced the best results between it, FSR and NIS. Though they predated the addition of SGSR (or whatever the Snapdragon one was called), and I wouldn't be surprised if results varied depending on game.

Personally, I don't really use the four all that much, as I mainly use LS for scaling 2D games.

SGSR has ALOT more Ringing artifacts, LS1 and FSR seems to be the best in regards to no ringing. I havent looked close at NIS so cant say on that one. I was able to immediately notice the ringing on SGSR even at 0 sharpness as it seems to be a single pass i believe its pretty close to a plain jane lanczos filter and has all the issues that come with that.

I imagine on Phones things are so small you wont notice but on any fair sized display you can see it easily.
