Yes, and LS works on any card. I wasn't surprised to read that DLSSFG x3/4 mode is only available on the 5000 series. Makes sense from a business standpoint, but is still greedy af...

Everyone uses the "it works on every card" argument like it means anything lol, yeah it works on every card in exchange for terrible input lag and artifacts all over the screen which looks and plays worse than not using it at all.

"Oh no, now I will have to upgrade my GPU, because there is no way to get similar technology elsewere." ;;)

NVIDIA probably doesn't like this software, it makes buying newest hardware almost pointless (if you have enough VRAM for FG). And when LSFG 3 comes out, it will be even better!
I'm happy I discovered this program.

Yeah, unless you can supply a high baseline FPS, I don't think the argument for works on every card holds. For me on 4k, I can't use LSFG for any game tbh with a 4080. As my FPS is usually in the 70-80 range for the new triple A games, by the time I enable LSFG my base goes down sub to like 50-55, and now im 50/100, with increased delay and artifacts, so I just turn it off. With nvidia's fg, your base fps stays, much less artifacts and input delay, only thing missing that lsfg has advantage is games without native FG, I can just inject LSFG, if nvidia adds FG on driver level its game over!

Do you have a 120hz monitor? Then maybe try it again with the new version on Friday, with a 40fps cap and x3 framegen, LS resolution scale 70%. I'm very happy with the quality of LSFG 3, I have a 1440p/165hz monitor and a 3080ti and I play some games at 39x4, others at 52x3 and they look gorgeous, and I don't notice any input lag.

In a way is true but dont compare LSFG with DLSS or FSR that are made by companies with billions in the bank.

The frame generation is horrendous on its own merit, it cuts the real framerate nearly in half, doubles the input lag, and adds artifacts all over the screen, all for a slightly smoother image, even at 2X. 60fps native feels better than 120fps with lossless frame gen.

I didn't compare it to DLSS or FSR3, the one's comparing are people coping and saying this is better than officially implemented frame gen. Officially implemented FSR3 which works on every card is already bad let alone this. Let's not even mention the upscalers which are glorified sharpening filters xd

Do you wanna have help with your technical problems or you just wanted to let everyone know that you don't like LS?

LS makes Nvidia look stupid to be honest. wont be long until LS has their own equivelant to Reflex 2 as well. apparently many people dont know about LS or they would have laughed nvidia out of the room.
When i saw the Nvidia presnetation.. the first thing i thought was ..wait what the hell ? Did they bought up Lossless Scaling ??

Did they just copied LS and market it like a whole new way of gaming..
and are calling it ;

" Multi- FrameGeneration "..

LOL x3 or wait x4 ...
we call it for years ; Lossless Scaling..

Nvida : RTX 5090 €2399,-
Steam : Lossless Scaling € 7,-

Resolution scale: 60% Performance: ON

Keep GPU load around 85% with the FPS limit set in the game.

If you follow these, X3 x4 can also work. There will be no lag.,

Anyone with ANY card can benefit from it yeah i'm sure
even a simple 2D scroller locked at 60 fps will be 10x BETTER if you apply framegen X4 with lossless scaling on a 240hz monitor and it won't cost that much of power but man... the difference!

Now for more 3D intensive stuff it will depend from your hardware and how the game is power hungry and what kind of managing and compromise you can make to keep everything under bottleneck to have a smooth experience

It's an incredible tool if you have some knowledge for how to use it and don't ask too much magie out of it x)
It's kinda funny the lengths some people will go to defend Nvidia.
