Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

FPS go beyond cap while streaming on Discord
So, I have my FPS capped with Rivatuner on 60 FPS and I usually do x2 to get 120 FPS. But when I start a stream on Discord, the FPS are capped ONLY when I don't move my mouse. When I move it, it starts going up, and depending how fast I move my mouse, it goes up to 165/165 (which is a global NVCP cap). Does anybody know a fix for that?

Looking for the same answer. Shooting above my limited Framerate is causing issues in-game when streaming and using Losless Scaling
I found a fix that helped for me. Using LSFG 3.0 I was able to get rid of this by setting "Resolution Scale" to 90% or effectively enabling performance mode for 2.3. If this makes sense. Maybe it was overworking my GPU?

I'm gonna give it a try but I doubt my 3090Ti got overworked by doing 60/120 in Zomboid and livestream on Discord.
Disregard. This didn't work, the only thing that worked for me was Utilizing WGC vice DXGI. I have a 4090 and still use Lossless scaling in games because it smooths a lot of things out like Helldivers and Tarkov when using higher settings. Great Program

Yeah no need to overwork your GPU trying to render 120 FPS when u can just do 60x2 with much lower power. At least that's what I do.
Back to the topic- are u on 24h2 Windows 11 or 23h2?

That's interesting, because the usual reason why DXGI fails to properly detect the game's framerate is because of a lack of MPO support on the system.
That is, I would expect it to not work for you at all, rather than just stops working when streaming.

the next thing I've noticed is that it doesn't happen in all games. It does in Zomboid or For the King 2, but not in Helldivers 2. And it's only when I move my mouse.

I am on 24H2
The only time this has happened previously was when something was using Vsync. Though, Vsync is off in my 3d settings. Not sure if something is built into Discord when streaming or not.
