Lossless Scaling caps frame generation at 240 FPS

Is there a way to disable this I use 3X mode in Halo Infinite It caps the frame generation at 240 fps.

No. You could use version 2.8 instead, it doesn't cap the framerate at max fps, but it has no x3 framegen.

That doesn't help this time it caps at 360 fps

what is your FPS without LS? and what is your screen refresh rate? any frame gen over the refresh rate is literally pointless, native fps would but not the fake frames since its just a visual and not performance enhancing.

My display is 240hz I get around the same as my refresh rate but that isn't the point I bought Lossless scaling so it'll do that 480 or 500 fps

literally no point in going past 240 fps since you wont actually benefit from it, all LSFG does is make the game/video appear smoother (as long as your screen has enough refresh rate), it doesnt increase the performance or response time that you would get from native frame rate. since your screen cant show anything past 240 hz, any fake frames (frame gen frames) past that point would be lost, quite literally.

lol its quite comical at this point. maybe one day OP will realise how LSFG really works, which doesnt improve game performance at all, it technically makes it worse, it just looks better/smoother if the refresh rate can display the frames it generates. this user reminds me of an another user with a 60 hz screen and using frame gen to increase the framerate from a 60 fps game to 120 and wondering why he doesn't notice a difference
