Lossless Scaling

Small question about FG and fps capped games
Lets say I play Skyrim and obviously want to cap my fps to 60 because the engine will go bonkers, will lossless still work just fine or will I have to uncap my games??

I would like to crank my graphics and target 60 fps and cap em there and then use lossless to give me a bit more frames. Does it work?

Thanks in advance!

You don't have to do anything to Skyrim and can just use Lossless to double or triple the fps. Lossless doesn't actually alter the framerate of the game, so it won't affect the speed, physics, or anything else that is tied to framerate.

There are now ways to uncap Skyrim safely if you did want to cap it higher.

One of the best uses of Lossless is for games that are hard capped at 60 or below.

I know about fps mods, just an example to make sure I can cap the in-game fps and still benefit:D

it will feel better with fps cap anyway. YOu cap it at 60 and use x2 to 120 or x3 to 180fps.

I use the framegen x2 for skyrim, and cap the fps via the enb.

I will fiddle with it later then. Still didn't find any time to try it. I wish I could use it on steam deck 😁
