Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

Which mode better.
Which mode is better? Adaptive or fixed? I'm asking about image quality and the number of artifacts. Honestly, I don't feel like checking it myself.

There shouldn't be a difference in those things. What can be different is frame pacing and input latency.

It seems that you haven't read the release notes.

I did read them.

Since you know better, you could enlighten us instead of being an asshat. This board needs a new moderator.
Be nice, first warning.

From the release notes: "Since AFG generates most of the displayed frames, the number of real frames will range from minimal to none, depending on the multipliers used. As a result, GPU load may increase, and image quality may be slightly lower compared to fixed multiplier mode."
Here's an in-depth review of Adaptive mode btw:

Being nice works both ways. Not everyone has time to read through a pile of news. Instead of responding, you immediately chose to be rude, and it's not the first time xD

He read the news, but didn't give you the correct information. Now you have the correct information.
I love this program! Btw, I have a game that fluctuate a lot with fps: I had to use Fix settings, because my game crashed with the adaptive option. during intense moments. Anyway, maybe it was only my system problem. I love that program, I feel like that my pc is new again! I have no idea if this would help my brother's pc with a Jurassic 1050 ti. I am using with a 3080, in games that doesnt support dlss and are a lot demanding! Really GG m8! Thx for the software!

Try to keep the GPU load below 90%, maybe that helps.

It's worth a try with older games.
depending on your framerate, adaptive can have more real frames so thus having better image quality, but its not a clear cut and dry. for example i play at 60 fps, but have a 100hz monitor, adapative set to 100 fps at the target, every 6/10 frames will be real instead of the 5/10 you would get from simply doubling your framerate in fixed mode, thus less artifacts.
Adaptive is nice for maintaining fluidity if rendered frames have fluctuations w/ pacing.

No. A 60->100 Adaptive certainly looks very good, but the vast majority of displayed frames are still generated frames, for framepacing reasons.
