Make sure your Nvidia GPU driver is updated to the latest 566.36, for some reason on this new driver DXGI now works completely fine for me on Windows 11 24H2 where it just straight up didn't work at all before.
This is despite the fact this driver makes no mention of changing anything about MPO, so I'm really not sure what's going on here and why it seems to have just suddenly started working.
Additionally make sure RTX Video Super Resolution is disabled and RTX HDR is disabled, either of these being on disables MPO.
Also G-Sync support in Lossless scaling doesn't seem to work correctly even on DXGI here, so I'd recommend turning that off, but of course you should test for yourself here.
If relevant I am using the Lossless Scaling beta.
Oh! I had no idea those two features disabled MPO, I had VSR in auto mode but even after turning it off and restarting PC my main screen still says MPO MaxPlanes 1 :(
I hadn't noticed the new driver update, will get that installed and do some testing after work, thank you!
Only found that due to this steam thread talking about those other nvidia settings disabling MPO, so thanks for the help on that. Hope you get it working too PUR3.
Sadly I never managed to get MPO to work on my main screen but it's not a big deal anymore as recent nvidia drivers and windows updates have made DXGI work correctly for me again, thank you tho!
