Currently i have a 21:9 monitor, which doesn't allow me to upscale 16:9 resolutions. With LS i could set my ingame resolution to 1440p and scale it up so i have black borders and a better picture.
To add:
It would be cool to have DLDSR so that it could even have better FPS on Nvidia GPU's, if that is possible.
In most cases it won't. The only thing you can do is to set Anime4k scaling to 1x. It will be scaled 2x then downscaled back to input resolution.
For example; I have a 2560x1440 monitor. However I want to play and record my games at 4K. AMD's VSR lets me set it to higher resolutions so I set it to 4K. Once the desktop is set to 4K, Lossless Scaling allows me to pick any game and scale it to 4K, as well. I won't physically "see" any advantage on my 1440p monitor but the recording is made at 4K with Lossless Scaling's algoritm.
