Fixes for Lossless Scaling 24h2 Windows
Hey, so i spent the other night trying out various fixes and these are the ones that actually worked and made Lossless work correctly again.

Update to the Beta branch

Head over to Library, right click, properties, betas and in the upper right corner select "beta"
Now that you're in the beta it will download the new update, make sure to swap the render from DXGI to WGC. Keep all other settings the same as you had them.
With the new windows update, they fixed some issues with the dxgi render but in turn they made the one for this program not function properly ( explained better by the dev himself in the discussions tab if you want to hear ).

Turn off RTSS!!

The fix above is what actually helped the program run as smooth again. Before turning off RTSS from Msi Afterburner the program introduced really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ framepacing issues which made games unplayable with it, it took me a while to figure out that it was actually RTSS interfering with lossless. I'm actually not too sure why, i assume that the RTSS overlay is causing issues with lossless and it isn't able to hook onto the game properly. So turn it off!!!

For those wondering, to limit fps you can use nvidia control panel, under "Maximum frame rate" input the number you want. Not sure how it's done for AMD.

Optimizations for windowed games

Some people reported this fixed the issue for them, i don't think it does anything for me but i think it was worth mentioning here.
Go to windows search, type "graphics settings", turn off optimizations for windowed games.
DO NOT TURN OFF ANYTHING IN ADVANCED GRAPHICS SETTINGS.

Note these are all issues caused by updating to the new 24H2 Windows 11, at least for me. But all fixes shown are/were required for my PC to use lossless scaling perfectly again.

I had done the fixes before and had issues anyway. the reboot fixed it for me. I didnt mean, a reboot works for everybody, tho.

After 24H2 my RTSS started capping my Lossless Scaling app, which never happened before. I had to add .exe file and uncap it. Something to keep in mind when someone uses RTSS.

for me, RTSS does not work at all in 24h2. I have to cap the fps of my games via nv control panel.

Yeah. After further testing, it turned out RTSS makes game FPS go up and down like crazy. I actually had to do a system restore back to 23H2 because it was that broken. And I don't like using NVCP for capping because there is just too much clicking.
