Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

Frame generation freezes while actual game runs fine.
Like the title says, me and many other users on discord are suffering from the same issue.

The FG freezes, yet the actual game runs fine. Alt tab temporarily fixes it until it freezes again.

What I've tried:

* DDU
* Turn off undervolt
* Reinstall Lossless
* Disable Discord HW Accel
* Disable DLSS replacement
* Try different game (only happens with Wuthering Waves).

One thing I've noticed is that everyone who has this issue runs 24H2.

Have you tried it with both DX11 and 12 and different display modes (windowed/borderless)?

Your in game graphics settings are too high and are leaving LS no vram to work with.

At least that was what caused this issue for me with Witchfire a few days ago.

VRAM is not the issue, it still happens even with over 50% free VRAM.

I've tried both DX11 and 12, but I'll try using windowed.

Dam i thought for sure I had the answer for you since that was the exact behaviour I had going with the freeze / alt tab.

How about gpu usage? Is it sitting at 99%? maybe that would cause the same thing.

It started doing the same for me too.
It worked fine a few weeks ago, now it freezes anything, games or videos.

Edit: Reverting to Legacy 2.10 fixes the issue.
Edit2: *NVM, it was me being dumb, I reduced the CPU TDP to keep it from overheating, so it lacked juice to run the Frame Generator.*

Unfortunately that's not it either. I've checked both GPU and CPU utilization.
