alt-tab lag

While scaling is active, I experience severe lag when I alt-tab out of the game and return. It seems to be related to G-Sync. How can I resolve this issue?

Try a different GPU driver. A possible workaround could be to disable LS with the hotkey before you alt-tab out.

Does it help to restart LS? Does it happen in every game?

Restart LS worked. I use only Genshin

I've sometimes had a similar issue where after alt+tabbing and coming back to the game, LS technically runs fine from a framerate perspective but has huge unplayable stutters, then crashes after I alt+tab again or try to toggle scaling.
Though, I suspect that's unrelated to your problem and is a quirk of recording DXGI with OBS, as I so far haven't had it happen without using OBS.

After upgrading the NVIDIA app through GeForce Experience and updating Windows, the issue was resolved. It seems one of the two was the solution.
