Help with Escape from Tarkov (SPT)
I’ve heard that this program can make a significant improvement for SPT (Single player Tarkov), and upon adjusting the various settings in LS it makes little to no difference. The FPS performance is still pretty poor. I’m not sure if there’s some setting in either LS or EFT that I’m doing incorrectly or not.

My specs are:
I7-9700k
RTX 3060 Ti
32 GB ram
I play on a 1080p monitor

What's your monitor refreshrate? What's your fps without LS and with LS? Did you cap the fps?

144hz, fps changes depending on the map, but most of the time its below 60fps, I capped the max fps to half of my hz so 72

What numbers does the LS framerate counter show? The second number is the imporant one, it shows the fps you see, the first number is input fps. Try a 40-45fps cap with x3 framegen.

that was one thing that i was confused about, the numbers that showed was 144 / 288, i dont think thats supposed to be right lol

That's indeed not right :) Try WGC capture API. Do you have Windows 11?

If you have the Discord app close it or disable its hardware acceleration, also make sure to disable all overlays (Steam, Nvidia, ...) If you use RTSS/Afterburner close both programs.

Do you personally use this program for SPT?

No, but others do.

Will what you said above fix the issue of the fps numbers saying 144 / 288?

Try it. Overlays are usually the worst enemy of LS.

Update: I disabled steam overlay, i didnt know if that would have any effect if it didnt work on spt but did it anyways

I set the sync mode to Vsync, and then switched the capture api to WGC, but for some reason it still didnt change much, but when i put it back to DXGI all of a sudden its working like a charm!

Ground zero went from maybe ~45fps to now constantly over 100 - 120!

Thank you so much for the help, now its time to test streets, thats the final boss of benchmarking lmao

You're welcome :)

Update 2: streets went from 40-50 fps to now 80 - 100 fps, this program was money well spent indeed!
