GSYNC+VSYNC vs VSYNC Input Lag with Frame Generation
With 60hz games on a 144hz screen have two options, using 2x frame gen:

Set screen to 120hz, gsync off in lossless scaling, vsync on.
Set screen to 144hz, gsync on in lossless scaling, vsync on.

Both result in a smooth 120hz image without tearing.

From my understanding, the 144hz gsync method should have less input lag, as it's below the 144hz where it would get the extra vsync delay?
When testing in game it's difficult to tell, the 144hz gsync method might be very slightly faster, but i'm biased as thats what i would expect.

Does anyone have more insight when it comes to lossless scaling frame generation and gsync+vsync vs vsync input lag?
