Screenshots with LS - HOW?
Hi!

I use LS for various things, from frame gen to scaling - and I think it's awesome!

But one problem that is driving me nuts is screenshots... has anyone figured out how to take screenshots *with* scaling properly showing? Anytime I take a screenshot using something like printscreen or Game Bar - there's no scaling applied, the scaled app is showing normal size as before scaling. The Nvidia GFE solution just throws up an error saying "A protected app is preventing desktop capture", which is stupid (it can record video fine, just not screenshot!) and enabling/disabling the desktop capture in privacy settings does nothing to remedy this... FRAPS (I know, ancient) does nothing either.

Anyone figured out how to make a screenshot with LS in use??

@Dev - maybe you have any ideas on how to fix this? Or maybe implement your own screenshot tool/hotkey that could do it?

The WGC capture API can capture screenshots just fine; just screenshot the screen rather than a specific window with PrtSrc or something like Ifranview.

DXGI, though... For whatever reason, that one really doesn't like being captured, for video or screenshots. What I do is use OBS (it can take screenshots as well as video) with a Game Mode video source set to record LS's window, though in my experience this needs SLI/Crossfire-compatibility enabled and is quite finicky; LS often needs to be coaxed into being captured by OBS by enabling and disabling scaling or resetting the window OBS records until it works, and sometimes LS just crashes while OBS is capturing it.
