Basic Noob Settings for Using App 2.11
Hi, I'm having trouble figuring out how to use the program and the conflicting advice is hard for me to sort through. I want the minimum manual configuration necessary to make games as smooth and detailed as possible. I have a 4070ti Super running at 3440x1440p on a 144hz Gsync monitor, 32gb ram and 5800X3D, and most games run fine but it seems like I occasionally get hitching or my gsync settings are not working correctly.

From what I gather, this is my default profile -
Scaling Mode: Auto, Fullscreen [for gsync]
Scaling type: [no clue, was LS1 then set off; it seems like NVIDIA should be used for NVIDIA but where is it off and where is it on?]
Frame generation: Off or LSFG 2.3, Mode X2 [so then set framerate to 60 or 70fps in game? I normally sync to 141], Performance On
Cursor: Clip cursor on, adjust speed/hide/scale off
Rendering: Sync default, Max fram latency 1, HDR support/Gsync support on
Capture: DXGI
Gpu & Display - auto/auto [one card and one screen]
Crop: 0000
Behavior: Multidisplay mode off
Legacy: Windowed mode off

Then to play a game, I boot the game, and hit the scale button in Lossless Scaling 2.11 then swap back to give the game focus? Should I have profiles for different direct X versions or for when I can't set sync in-game? It would be helpful if the app came with some other profiles to show the basic options people should try using.

Lower your base framerate for those games where you notice problems, use the LS framerate counter or RTSS to see if you're GPU-limited. Also check if Gsync actually works:

Is that new? I've never seen it before. Thanks.
