No it didn't.
Via VLC media player 3.0.21 last night, I tried to watch an anime DVD using Anime4K/Very Large. Both with and without LSFG 2.3 X2, the framerate counter showed around 600/600 and frame stutters were a thing. I have no idea what the cause was, but your post reminded me of my experience.
No scaling, any kind of framegen does the stutter. Gsync option on or off same thing. All kinds of vsyncs in the all. Nothing seems to fix the stutter. Limiting fps also same thing. You can tell it's super smooth but it's hiccuping / stutter every second. No idea what more to try but think this is a problem with the app and new windows version.
So, interesting, and possibly related data point: when I updated to 24H2, Windows got confused about what monitors were my primary and secondary. My secondary monitor is Number 1 in Windows, and my primary is Number 2. But, I set Windows to use monitor number 2 as my primary, and everything worked before I updated to 24H2.
However, after changing to 24H2, I had to change settings in The Riftbreaker and another game for them to play my primary (Number 2) monitor, because they were defaulting to the secondary (Number 1) monitor.
All of this means that VLC with Lossless Scaling works fine to play this DVD anime on my primary monitor (144Hz) that is Number 2 but screws up when playing on my secondary monitor (100Hz) that is Number 1 in Windows.
Do you have two monitors connected to your PC? Are there any Windows Display settings that might need to be updated?
Have you already tried Nvdia driver 560.70?
Everything was fine on 23H2, got an amd 6650xt and have tried everything here, I guess we need to wait for an update once 24H2 properly gets here.
Good choice on the version. I've been using 24H2 for months and it was always like this. Frame pacing and stutters even tho you can tell it's smooth.
And Nvidia users?
Have you tried it with different drivers? Like Nvidia driver 560.70 which seems to work well for some?
