Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

Has anyone used it with a 3070 ti?
There is i9 12gen and 3070ti. I want to use the system so that it looks more beautiful to those who get less tired, do you think it is necessary?

The 3070ti is a good card, you will most likely be very happy with LS. I used it on my 1080ti with very good results, now with my 3080ti I'm even happier, I use 165hz 1440p.
Yes it is a good card and it gets very hot. (Because My Cooling Is Bad) That's why I want to get more fps without tiring the card too much with this program. I won't use it when I buy a nice cooling system in the future.

How hot does it get?

Yes, LS is perfect for that.
And if you haven't done that already, then undervolt your card, you get the same performance with less power draw, thus it's cooler.

highly recommend undervolting. Did wonders to mine.
Yes, undervolting is important. I won't allow my GPU to go over 70C.
Im using it on 3070 and it works fine

I didn't see you ask how many degrees it was. My country is extremely hot right now, when I play a Story game at full graphics at noon, it goes up to 90 degrees within 5-10 minutes and gives a warning. That's why I limited the power target of Thundermaster to 90 and the temperature to not exceed 80.
Then you have a more urgent need to undervolt your card.

Of course I do that, I use the power at 90%, I tried to get the fps I lost with 10% with this program. :)

So which cooling system and case would you recommend me?

What you are doing is underclocking but not undervolting. Undervolting is supposed to obtain the same performance for a lower power usage and temperature. And that lowered temperature can be significant.

What you need is to follow the video provided above for setting the curve.

Not OP but 90°C is kinda crazy. I've taken a lot of steps to get proper cooling in my system. If important: I use the Ventus 3070 ti and this is my curve in MSI afterburner: https://imgur.com/a/LvmoPJV

For my case: Be Quiet Pure Base 500DX with swapped shadow wings coolers.

CPU cooling: Noctua NH-D15, the classic. (for a 5800x3d).

Now hear me out, no matter what you get (and there are cheaper cases and case fans for similiar cooling), the program fan control is what I love most about my setup. It's a free program you can use to have your case fans (or any fans that are detectable) respond to your system components temps. Basically, if your CPU or GPU get hot, your case fans ramp up in speed, but finely tuned to whatever your needs are.

So get some GPU stress testing software like heaven benchmark and run that, check temps, configure your fans, maybe reconfigure your undervolt too, repeat until you find a good sweetspot. It's trial and error, it takes time, but it will be worth it.

Edit: as someone else said: underclocking is not undervolting. There are plenty of YT guides out there. A good undervolt should cost 0 of your performance at lower temps.. I used this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OhT_nAgJ2I but didn't use the memory clock and I also didn't lock it into place to always run at those speeds.
