Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

Best video player for frame generation?
i like pot player because i can do rtx upscaling with it on its own at the same time as frame gen with this software, but in larger videos, skipping forward or back or playing a new video breaks frame gen and i have to press unscale and scale again to get it working

with vlc thats all fine except i cant get rtx upscaling working with it and also if i actually fullscreen vlc all the way the aspect ratio gets all messed up for some reason, so its stuck with the toolbar at the top and transport at the bottom from being scaled up by this software

I use VLC, not in fullscreen mode, I let LS do the scaling to fullscreen and sometimes I hide the UI with Ctrl-H and use the hotkeys to pause/seek.

vlc probably, i use MPV tho which can be set up with addons to make the end result better, i started using it awhile back since you can add reshade to videos as well.

I use MPC-HD for frame gen and it works fine for me. That includes RTX upscaling AND FG via the yellow duckie.
