Can lossless scaling work while watching youtube?
I had this working before, im not 100% sure how. But all of a sudden it wont work, has my youtube video slow down, almost buffering. Can share settings if anyone has any idea. It DID work in the past for me, but now it isnt after installing new GPU drivers. any help would be welcome!

Yes it actually works. Fullscreen or not. All you have to do is just press scale with frame gen ON and go back to your webpage

It work for me on firefox, have you add setting just for browser?
The problem I have was mouse are stuttering and selecet which one monitor you are playing can solve that problem

edit : Just notice I no longer able to gaming and watching youtube at the same time, lossless scaling will cause youtube stuttering on second monitor whlie gaming.

Well as far as i know lossless scaling works only on focused window. But there's a slight chance that it actually works as background too, try tinkering with Multi-Display mode / Windowed mode under Frame Gen settings. Lemme know if it worked as I'm interested myself.

I found a solution, it seen check "Performance" in Frame Generation can solve this problem for now.

ive already got performance mode on and all the other things people have recommended. What fixed it for ME, was to use Firefox and Microsoft edge.

so i guess take that info for what you want? it DID work with opera gx for a while tho, idk what changed

It works for anything on the screen as long as they are in window mode. I basically have this program turned on when I start my PC and never leave it off

Dang! I've tried performance mode on, tried switching to firefox, tried multi-monitor mode, tried graphics acceleration, still no dice! Same issue as y'all, primary monitor is fine, secondary monitor, not just youtube but anything even an audible player, will lag and skip nonstop. And my GPU isn't even close to fully utilized, hmmm! Perplexing.
If you have an Nvidia card, look in the Nvidia Control Panel, for later cards there should be an option to use Machine Learning to upscale Videos from the Internet including those from YouTube.

Go to NCP > Video > Adjust Video Image Settings > RTX Video Enhancement > Tick Super Resolution

You shouldn't need LS to scale videos for you. As for Frame Generation, you would need to lock your browse application to display at half the rate of the monitors refresh in order for it to work correctly. This would affect, I am assuming, the entire performance of the browser not just the video playback.

This doesn't seen like a worthwhile endeavour to me personally.
