Lossless Scaling
HELP! R6 LOWER FPS
i tried using LS on r6, but i kept getting low frames (9-13fps) when i turned the LS on. Without it on i can get a stable 70fps, waht did i do wrong?

What GPU do you have? LS also needs VRAM for frame generation, and that huge framerate drop you mentioned kinda sounds as if your card is VRAM-limited. In that case a lower in-game texture setting would help. Use RTSS to see how high the VRAM usage is while LS is running.

Thank you for your reply, i am currently using NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, i do have a 4gb VRAM, and i reserved around 2gb for LS perhaps it wasn't enough?
You should not need to reserve VRAM for LS, though I don't know how you did it.
If i recall my testing correctly LSFG only uses ~600mb at 4k. Less at lower resolutions. Depending on the resolution, your GTX 1650 might simply be to weak to do it. Computationally, not vram-wise.

Set game to windowed. Toggle "Draw FPS". Set scaling mode to "Custom" and increase the scaling factor. If your FPS increases, then your 1650 is simply to weak to FG at the res you were trying at.
