Frame Gen only works sometimes in Star Citizen?

ive played around with all the settings and i cant seem to find the reason for it, frame gen worked a couple times but then it will seemly stop working for no reason and it takes a dozen restarts for it to maybe start working again, even if i use the same resolution and settings as the time it did work

the way i know when it works and doesnt is because theres no difference when you toggle it on and off even tho the fps counter and slight input lag still present, however when it does work i immediately notice the increased smoothness from it when toggling it

When using DXGI capture, LS fps counter should be twice the game framerate, otherwise it doesn't work properly. What does it show?

the LS counter is showing double the star citizen frames, i think the problem has more to do with star citizen rather than the program, as sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt

edit: to clarify the doubled fps counter and slight input delay will show every single time however a lot of the times the frames will not actually double and remain the same amount as native fps

Not actually double is a 2-3 frames difference or more?

as in the generated frames simply did not show at all, i tried an older version 2.7.0.4 and so far it has actually worked for star citizen every time which is weird but ill just stick to that one in meanwhile
