Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

Does this help if heat is the main issue?
My primary issue is my gpu and cpu tend to overheat. While I am saving up for a proper build, this seems like it could potentially be a good way help control heat issues. I'm assuming running it at a lower resolution with upscaling would make the gpu not max out as much, thus lowering heat. Is this true?

That's true. You can also cap your framerate to lower the temp.

Sure, if working, upscaling should relieve GPU loading compared to running in native settings.

it would as long as you cap your fps at a lower amount.

you can also change your power plan to power saving
or just buy a new cpu cooler
