if you turn on the display fps option you will be able to figure it out if its working properly.
Media fullscreen mode is technically the same as its video game counterpart and thus isn't supported, and yes, you can use this with other applications, as long as you get a framerate benefit from it you should be fine.
But hell, Youtube already has 60 fps streaming. You should try other movie streaming platforms, 60 fps for movie, wow!!!
This is how i do use it in Firefox, works great.
I do use Capture API: WGC, Vsync ON, Max Refresh for a smoother result.
There's a tool called "Sizer 4.0", which lets you set an exact size/resolution for the popout window. For a 1:1 pixel ratio image before upscaling.
Upscaling a 1440p video from a 1440p window to 4K with LS1 often looks better than Youtubes own 4K videos.
Yes, for many AI upscaling they look more noticeable / sharper than native resolution. But it depends whether it is what people aim for.
I'm more postive about it on Youtube videos then in videogames, as it can often fix a bit of Youtube's compression.
Ahh, yes, Youtube doesn't give us native quality anymore. You make a good one. I didn't use it on Youtube because I mostly use frame gen.
Now I will give it a try :)
