İnput Lag Needs to be Fixed
So far seems it ok i think, i don't know there lots of things missing in this program, anyway there is big the input lag issue that happens in most of games, and its completely ruin the enjoyment of the games, it really needs to be fixed, This problem really needs to be solved so that we gamers can enjoy the games properly.

for me the input lag i get is when i turn on native framegeneration. ( AFOP, Cyberpunk 2077, Dragons Dogma 2, Atomic Hearth )

In Cyberpunk 2077 when i dont use native FG everything runs smooth etc. the moment i enable native Framegenration in the game menu and i go back in game the reaction on my Xbox gamepad is like a half second.

I turn right on my gamepad it happens like a second later on the screen. If i disable FG in the games everything responds normal.

Dont know if im doing something wrong.

Does that lag happen in every game or do you have games where it runs ok during framegen? It could be helpful to post your system specs, LS settings, frame rate cap and what refresh rate you use for your monitor.

Samsung Odyssey 7 monitor 1440p Gsync ( upscaled to 4K 240hz capped at 120Hz for better frametimes.

settings LS
aspect ratio auto
2.1 X2/X3
framerate is capped at 60fps through RIva Turner

Have you capped it at 120 or have you actually set it to 120hz in the display properties?

In case you have set it to an actual 120hz try lowering the framecap to 59,

i set in thr driver settings my hz to 120hz.
Even in the settings of my monitor i have set the hz to 120.

They can NOT fix the input lag because of the way this app works. It needs your card to FIRST generate the frames, then it will calculate an intermediate frame and THEN it will start showing you the first (real), second (generated) and third (real) frame and so on.
So basically you are watching your game in "replay" - and if you do something, it takes a short while until you can see it - this is the lag that you describe.
There is no way around it - however, the higher your initial framerate is, the less lag you will have.

You can minimize it by getting the game/window to tear. I got DOOM and LSFG to x3 40fps with excellent input lag. Setting Lossless scaling to allow tearing and setting it to fast sync in the NVCP seems to help as well.
to be accurate its not "input lag" its the display lag. this app doesn't affect the game itself, your input is sent to the game in the same amount of time (ms) it would normally, it is just that you don't SEE it as fast since LS needs time to compute its overlay for scaling/frame gen.

not without sacrifices to the quality. there was a user in the discord that mentioned using an app to modify the lossless dll file to lower the delay but would lower the quality of the generated images, i forget the name of the app he used.

This is probably because of lower GPU usage/calculation time. The less work your GPU has to do, the quicker that work is done and the faster a frame can processed and display by Lossless Scaling.
