LSFG vs. TV 'Intelligent Frame Creation'
hey folks,

some user said, after I recommended lossless scaling, that it surely cant be better than frame generation on a tv. I highly doubt this and I think, LSFG is far more sophisicated, but as Im not involved in the development process of LS, I cant give a fundamental answer. all I can say is, I love the app and my games run super fluid and smooth, with minimal artifacts.

dear devs, could you elaborate the basics with me, for better understanding? that would really help me. all I know is, that LSFG works as an overlay, thats why you should deactivate other programs overlays. and frame generation works, that one frame is inserted between 2 rendered frames, basically doubling the frame rate. version 2.9 of LS lets you even triple the base fps.

can anyone help?

Why do you need to try so hard to convince some random user, this community has a bunch of weird regulars for some reason, a side effect of not being mainstream I guess.

I do not convince other people by force, because I think, everybody has a right for bad luck in life. its just good to have arguments, tho.
is way better than t.v. interpolation basically because of lower latency, better frame pacing, and 2 frame interpolated frames for 3x fps. add to that the different up-scaling options and it renders every other equivalent existing tech obsolete.
yeah, but not only that. other mod solutions inject their code into games, that support FSR3, making it easy for anticheat false positives and therefore resulting bans, whether LSFG is just an overlay and should IMO not be detected as a cheat or advantage over other players.
