Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

Rivatuner fps cap affects lossless scaling.
Before it was 30 fps on cap and draw fps was 60 (considering Vsync enabled). Now it forces "draw fps" to 30.
I think windows updates messed it up.
Already reinstalled riva, gpu driver (552.44) and program itself so everything at default.
In-game fps cap works normal (tested in TLOU).

FIX:
"ths" (discord dev): "don't create global profile in rtss or create a LS profile and disable cap for it"

Appreciate you taking the time to leave this here. It helped me.
While this topic is over a year old (not that I'm knocking the poster above for bumping it), this is a good reminder that you shouldn't edit the global profile in your driver or something like RTSS unless you're sure you know what you're doing.
Sure, it may seem more convenient and easier to keep track of than individual profiles at first, but then you have something like this happen and it's a huge pain to debug.
You're right.

Funny enough my problems haven't ended there.

Now Lossless Scaling ''overrules'' Riva Tuner frame cap when I activate it and just increases the FPS without the restriction.

Any ideas what might be going on? I'm out of ideas here.

Edit: It seems to have something to do with the "Capture API" options. When I change it to WGC it shows the fps draw by lossless scaling shows 72/144. However when changing to the DXGI API, I get 217/144 or the like.

Edit2: I've read about Windows 11 24H2 requiring to be updated for the DXGI API to work properly and I'm updating it right now. I'll post after updates.

I suggest making a separate topic for your problem, as the only advice I can offer is "update Windows and/or your drivers if you're on Win11", and "reboot your computer".
Your advice has been enough, updating Windows has fixed the issue. DXGI API works properly again.

Appreciate your time.
