Setting DSR/DLDSR resolution as desktop resolution is not recommended by nvidia themselves due to some issues, so it is not considered a valid/viable solution.
You can read the thousands of angry comments around how broken the new nvidia update is from here: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/543186/geforce-grd-55585-feedback-thread-released-52124/
a temporary solution but for the future these are not what will be advised, I would like the software to repair this and allow their LSFG to be used with the DSR / DLDSR

I will rollback the driver then, hoping that the next driver will be compatible with this tool.
Did it work fine before the 555 driver?
If so, then you should use an older version of the driver or wait for a new one where they will fix it. For my part, I did everything I could.
If it never worked normally, then you should not use LSFG with DSR.
