Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

Best settings for videos?
As the title, what are the best possible settings for frame gen while watching movies and tv?

Also, it seems no matter what settings I choose, frame gen on videos will only go to a max of 48fps. I have plenty of headroom left on my graphics card and I have Vsync set to full monitor refresh rate.

i use WGC capture API for video just to generate more fps instead of doubling it, combo with LSFG 1.1, coz LSFG 2.0 draw more power, idk about 2.0 performance mode tho, havent tested it yet

I tried WCG but my frames are still only doubled. Ill try again though. Ill also try it with 1.1

Update, WGC allows me to get about 55fps instead of 48. I was hoping to upscale to 60 or 120

you can only double the frame rate. most videos are only 23.976 (24 fps) so you only get a true 48 fps, when using WGC you double half your refreshrate, for videos it may say its higher fps but in reality anything over 48 fps would be duplicated frames, which can look better or worse depending on what you are watching. again you can only truly hit 60 fps videos if you have a 30 fps source, and if you want 120 fps you need a 60 fps source.

Gotcha. Thanks.

PotPlayer Motion Interpolation + Lossless Scaling LSFG 2.0 might stack
