Really!? Are you sure about it? Cause I have SD and running Windows 10 on it.. tried mostly everything and FG not working.. zero impact in performance!!

If you expect the game FPS to double, it won't.

Definitely not expecting that, what I meant there were no extra smoothness felt in frames after enabling FG, tried on multiple games.. same results.
But If you can confirm it works on SD then maybe I'm doing something wrong!!

Yeah, it doesn't really work on Steam Deck, I'm running Windows 11 on mine, with all the drivers installed, locked 30 fps in the game and 60hz, the app insists on generating 120fps instead of 60. and the experience is trash, The game feels smoother with 30 fps than with the supposed 120. I tried different windows and AMD settings but nothing worked for me. The only way I can get the app to actually work is by connecting the SD to an external monitor. This app simply wasn't made with handhelds in mind, even though that's the best scenario where it could be really useful. Not to mention the lack of support for Linux since the launch of the app

Agreed what you said there.. low specs handhelds would benefited the most if it worked!!
In my case the app generates 60fps (not 120) and seems everything is alright as it should be.. yet I feel no differences other than just some added latency.

It doesn't work because of selected driver options that interfere with the app, not because it's a Steam Deck.

And also lots if you join Discord.

For AMD it's usually some anti-lag or enhanced sync that needs to be turned off.

You may have the same problem despite the correct FPS. There are many driver settings that can disrupt the correct operation of the app. The same applies to any overlays.

I guess then!! It would be a tough task to find out the real cause if that's the case, already played around with AMD settings.. without any luck!!
Thanks anyway for the quick response!!

I suggest a clean driver reinstall.

Just tried after clean driver re-installation with factory reset settings, still no luck!! As @Ryan here already mentioned.. it works with external monitor but not on Steam Deck's screen.
