Lol, you are really wondering why the base framerate drops while you get 110-120 with FG???? ;) Frame Generation in LS isn't free, it uses GPU power.
Thanks, still learning, first time using this
Yeah, first time using, it's natural in learning process. Anyway, make sense Lol
Best is to start a new thread and post your system spec, your LS settings and what framecap you set.
This is happening more precisely because your GPU is already at limit. so your GPU is throttling itself to fit in frame gen. So you will lose base frame-rate to fit in performance head room for frame gen.
Your best bet is always to limit settings/resolution(use up-scaling in game or with this app) to cut GPU load and depending on the game, performance mode is very good as well. Because you really don't want your GPU throttling itself to allow LSFG to work(this creates variable refresh rate and a less smooth experience overall, despite LSFG2.1 give a smoother variable frame rate. I still would recommend at least a consistent frame rate for best experience(LSFG 2.1 will try it's best to smooth out any dips but having your game CONSTANTLY dip because of GPU wall will give the overall experience more latency and roughness)
Tip 5: Add LosslessScaling.exe to NVIDIA control panel / app then change "Vulkan/OpenGL present method" to "Prefer layer on DXGI Swapchain"
(Without upscalers on, otherwise even that 63 is just thank to the LS app)
