Lossless Scaling

Lossless Scaling

Please make FG works on videos/streaming/chromium
I love LossLess Scaling. But to be honest, FG is a mess. It needs gpu usage that can be used to have more real frames and the result is not great.

BUT it would be AMAZING have it working on streaming videos like Youtube, Netflix, but specially in animations (Crunchyroll animes for example)

Attack on Titan looks that is made at 5FPS, it's absolutely terrible. On TVs we usually have the internal interpolation system. BUT on PC we don't have any alternative. It's just terrible.

LossLess Scaling could fix it. And this also would increase the app functionalities. I tested it here, but the screen is completely black.

You need to turn off hardware acceleration in the browser settings. The videos are DRM protected to prevent this, it works, but downside is the max FPS is much lower. Havent been able to get above 50FPS with it disabled.

You have to get SVP Pro 4 and pair it with MPC-BE + MADVR. With my 3090 TI I run movies with ridiculous motion clarity. The same is true for Youtube videos.

It's working perfectly for Youtube, Netflix, and Prime for me. Using LS1 with sharpness on 1 makes 1080p look better on a 1440p display. X2 and X3 work great. I don't use it for games, but videos are great. 24 fps X3 to 72 fps on a 144hz refresh looks fantastic.

7900XTX using Vivaldi browser. No idea if that makes any difference or not.

Although I second SVP Pro 4 as a technically superior option visually.
